TERRY C. HULBERT - Author

A graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M. 1950, Th.D. 1965), Dr. Hulbert has taught Greek at Northwestern College in Minneapolis and pastored several churches. From 1957 to 1969 he and his wife served with the Africa Evangelical Fellowship, (now S.I.M), in Zambia, teaching at a rural Bible institute and later founding the urban Theological College of Central Africa in Ndola.

Dr. Hulbert was appointed dean of Columbia Biblical Seminary and Graduate School of Missions, serving in that office 1972-1988. He then became Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Columbia International University, 1988-1994. Concurrently he served as Acting President 1990-1991.

Dr. Hulbert's passion for learning and applying the geographical dimension of biblical studies has given him an approach in his fifty years of classroom teaching that involves his students in the lives of the people they meet in the Scriptures. Building on his frequent visits to Israel, leading study tours and personally exploring the land, he has recently authored the Walking in Their Sandals CD-ROM

Dr. Hulbert continues to teach Bible subjects, (Old Testament Survey, Gospels/Life of Christ, Bible Geography and the Gospel of John). For each class session he develops a wide range of geographically-based Power Point presentations.
